CASE 5:

Ultrasound examination of an asymptomatic adult patient. Left kidney is enlarged and shows numerous anechoic areas in the cortex and medulla. These areas vary in size and their margins are irregular. The largest one measures 3.3cm X 1.6cm. Further examination reveals anechoic areas in the right kidney as well.
