CASE 3: Ultrasound examination of this normal sized right kidney revealed an hyperechoic area in the vicinity of renal hilum (see arrow). The size of the area was 1,8cm and a posterior acoustic shadowing was demonstrated. The rest of the kidney was normal and examination of the rest of the abdomen did not reveal any other pathology.
